Email Campaigns

Campaigns are bulk emails sent from Stadli to a defined audience (segment). Use campaigns for:

  • Pre-game excitement emails (“Game night is tomorrow — here’s what to know”)
  • Post-game surveys and thank-yous
  • Season ticket renewal announcements
  • Promotional offers (promo codes, early-bird pricing)
  • Event announcements (new games added, schedule changes)

Path: Admin > Marketing > New Campaign

  1. Click New Campaign.
  2. Choose a template — select from your saved templates or start from scratch.
  3. Edit content — use the WYSIWYG email editor:
    • Drag and drop content blocks (text, image, button, divider)
    • Edit text directly in the canvas
    • Preview how the email looks on desktop and mobile (toggle at top)
  4. Fill in the header:
    • Subject line — keep under 60 characters for best deliverability
    • Preview text — the snippet shown in inboxes before the email is opened (under 90 characters)
    • From name — defaults to your team name (set in Organization Settings)
  5. Select recipients: Choose a segment or select all contacts.
  6. Schedule or send:
    • Send now — the campaign sends immediately after you click Send
    • Schedule — pick a date and time; the campaign sends automatically (note: scheduling UI may still be in development — see below)
  7. Click Send or Schedule.

Note: Campaign scheduling is partially available. If the scheduling option is greyed out or not visible, send immediately and plan send time manually.

Path: Admin > Marketing > Templates

Templates save your email design for reuse. Create a template from any campaign by clicking Save as Template after building the email.

To use a template: select it in step 2 of the campaign builder.

To delete a template: go to Templates > [Template Name] > Delete.

Path: Admin > Marketing > [Campaign Name]

After a campaign sends, Stadli tracks:

  • Sent: Total emails sent
  • Opens: Unique opens (and open rate %)
  • Clicks: Unique clicks (and click-through rate %)
  • Bounces: Emails that couldn’t be delivered
  • Click map: Which links in the email were clicked most

Click Duplicate on any campaign to create a copy as a starting point for a new send. The copy is created as a draft.

If a campaign is scheduled (not yet sent), click Cancel Campaign to stop it from sending.

Archived campaigns move out of the active list but remain in your history for reference.

  • “Open rate is 0%” — If the campaign was just sent, wait 1–2 hours for opens to register. If still 0% after a day, check if the segment had valid email addresses.
  • “Bounce rate is high (>5%)” — Your list may have stale or invalid addresses. Import contacts with verified emails, or run a re-engagement campaign to identify active contacts.
  • “Campaign won’t send — ‘No recipients’ error” — The selected segment has 0 members. Check the segment filter rules and refresh the segment.
  • “Subject line cut off in Gmail” — Keep subject lines under 60 characters. Preview text fills in the rest of the inbox snippet.
