Creating and Managing Games & Events
What are games and events?
Section titled “What are games and events?”Every ticket sale in Stadli is tied to a specific game or event. A game (or event) has a date, time, opponent or description, and a status. Until a game is published, fans cannot purchase tickets.
Game statuses
Section titled “Game statuses”- Draft — visible only to admins; tickets cannot be purchased
- Active — tickets are available for purchase
- Archived — past or cancelled event; hidden from public storefront
Creating a game
Section titled “Creating a game”Path: Admin > Games > New Game
- Click New Game in the top-right corner.
- Enter the Game Name (e.g., “Home Opener vs. Rivaux FC”) — max 100 characters.
- Select the Date and Start Time. Time zone is set at the organization level (
Settings > Organization). - Optionally enter the Opponent name.
- Set the Status: leave as Draft until you’re ready to sell tickets.
- Click Save.
What happens next: The game appears in your games list. You can now set up inventory and price levels for it under Admin > Inventory.
Editing a game
Section titled “Editing a game”Path: Admin > Games > [Game Name] > Edit
Change any field and click Save. Changes to date or time take effect immediately; buyers who already purchased will not be automatically notified — send a campaign email if the change is significant.
Deleting a game
Section titled “Deleting a game”Path: Admin > Games > [Game Name] > Delete
A game can only be deleted if it has no orders. If orders exist, archive the game instead.
Warning: Deleting a game is permanent. It removes the event from all reports.
Archiving a game
Section titled “Archiving a game”Archive instead of delete when a game has past orders you want to retain in reports. Archived games disappear from the public storefront but remain in your data.
Importing games from CSV
Section titled “Importing games from CSV”Path: Admin > Games > Import
Use this to create multiple games at once (e.g., your full season schedule).
- Click Import and download the CSV template.
- Fill in each row: Game Name, Date (YYYY-MM-DD), Start Time (HH:MM 24h), Opponent, Status.
- Upload the completed file and click Import.
- Stadli validates each row. Any row with errors is skipped; valid rows are created immediately.
- Review the import summary — it shows how many games were created and which rows failed.
Limit: Max 200 games per CSV import.
Bulk editing games
Section titled “Bulk editing games”Select multiple games using the checkboxes in the games list, then choose an action (Change Status, Archive) from the bulk action menu.
Calendar vs. table view
Section titled “Calendar vs. table view”Toggle between table view (sortable columns) and calendar view (month grid) using the view buttons at the top right of the games list.
What could go wrong
Section titled “What could go wrong”- “I can’t delete this game” — The game has existing orders. Archive it instead.
- “Imported games show wrong time” — Check that your organization timezone is set correctly under
Settings > Organizationbefore importing. - “My game isn’t showing on the storefront” — Verify the game status is Active and that inventory is set up for it.
