Path: Admin > Seats / Inventory

  1. Sections — Create named sections in your venue (e.g., “Lower Bowl”, “VIP”, “General Admission”). Each section has:

    • A base price (in cents)
    • A gate / access point assignment
    • General Admission flag (no assigned seats)
    • Labels and tags for organization
    • Archive / restore capability
  2. Seats — Within each section, create a grid of rows and seats. Each seat can have:

    • An individual price override
    • A status: Available, Blocked, or Maintenance
    • Custom attributes (metadata)
  3. Seat maps — Upload a visual seat map image for sections that use assigned seating.

Create multiple pricing tiers per section (e.g., “Adult”, “Child”, “Senior”). Each tier defines:

  • Price in cents
  • Public or hidden (admin-only) visibility
  • Access point restrictions (which gate the ticket holder enters through)
  • Sort order for display

When a new event is created, use the inventory backfill tool to auto-generate event seats from your venue layout so you don’t have to configure seating per event manually.
